With input achieved during the International Conference in October 2009,  the “Masterplan Curaçao Information Society” was created by the Knowledge Platform Curaçao, and first presented in December 2009 to the Minister in charge of Telecommunication, Minister Maurice Adriaens. Together with Mr. David Dick, Commissioner of Economic Affairs and Tourism, they form the steering committee of the Knowledge Platform Curaçao.

In October 2009 the bulk of the input for the Masterplan was achieved in an international conference, organized by the Knowledge Platform Curaçao and the "Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post".
